No, Flolact does not contain penicillin. It is an antibiotic that belongs to the class of medication called fluoroquinolone. It used to treat several types of bacterial infection such as such as bronchitis, pneumonia, urinary, respiratory, skin, gastrointestinal, anthrax, bone, and eye infections.
Discontinuing Flolact on your own can increase the chances of bacterial resistance and infection relapse. It is recommended that you always consult your doctor if you have decided to discontinue this medicine.
