Coldact is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Capsule, Tablet. Common Cold, Fever are some of its major therapeutic uses. Other than this, Coldact has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.
The right dosage of Coldact depends on the age, gender, and medical history of the patient. Dosage also depends on the route of administration and your chief complaint for which the drug is prescribed. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.
Coldact also has some side effects, the most common being Stomach Upset, Nausea or vomiting, Diarrhoea. Usually, these side effects of Coldact go away soon, and do not persist beyond the duration of the treatment. Consult your doctor if these side effects become worse or stay for a longer duration.

Interaction between Alcohol and Coldact
Taking alcohol with Coldact can be dangerous.
No, Coldact is not used for treating stomach pain. The stomach pain could be due to some underlying medical condition which may require medical attention. If the pain does not subside within 1 day. Please consult your doctor without further delay.
Coldact is primarily not used to treat a common cold and sore throat. It can only relieve cold-related symptoms such as a fever, headache, earache, and aching joints. It doesn't help in relieving cough or stuffy nose.
Coldact is being used by pregnant women for many years without any evident harmful effects on the baby. That's why it is usually recommended as the first-line painkiller for pregnant women. But it is not possible to say that this medicine is completely safe to use in pregnancy. You are highly recommended to check with your doctor/gynaecologist before taking any medicine even [medicine] during pregnancy.
Coldact is not recommended for back pain. However, It can be taken along with a painkiller for the treatment of back pain.
An overdose occurs when more than the required amount (toxic levels) of [medicine] is taken. Initial symptoms of Coldact overdose includes loss of appetite, drowsiness, seizures, abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting. Later progressive symptoms may include pain in your upper stomach, dark colored urine, yellowing of your skin or the white patches in your eyes, liver damage and in rare cases, it can also lead to coma. So, by any chance, if you have accidentally taken more than the required dose of Coldact inform your doctor immediately.
