Volix M is the brand name for voglibose. It is an oral antidiabetic drug that belongs to the class of medicine called alpha-glucosidase inhibitor. It is used in single or combined with other drugs to treat diabetes.
No, Volix M does not cause weight loss. It has not been reported by a patient who is taking this medicine. However, if you experience weight loss after taking this drug then it might be due to some other reason.
Volix M itself does not cause alopecia ( hair loss). However, the conditions treated by Volix M, type 2 diabetes and PCOS, often list hair loss as a possible symptom.
Yes, Volix M can cause low blood sugar (hypoglycemia).
