Moxitak(Pmt) is a prescription drug, available for use as Drops. It is primarily used for the treatment of Bacterial Infections. Other than this, Moxitak(Pmt) has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.
Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Moxitak(Pmt). Dosage also depends on the route of administration and your chief complaint for which the drug is prescribed. Detailed information has been provided in the dosage section.
Moxitak(Pmt) also has some side effects, the most common being Nausea or vomiting, Diarrhoea. Besides the aforementioned side effects, there are other adverse effects of Moxitak(Pmt) as well, which are listed below. Usually, these side effects of Moxitak(Pmt) go away soon, and do not persist beyond the duration of the treatment. Please speak with your doctor if these side effects worsen or persist for a longer duration.
It is also important to note that Moxitak(Pmt) has a Moderate effect for pregnant women and Severe effect on lactating mothers. In addition, Moxitak(Pmt)'s effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Moxitak(Pmt) related warnings section.
Individuals suffering from medical conditions like Myasthenia Gravis (MG), Peripheral Neuropathy, Neuropathy, Peripheral must refrain from the use of Moxitak(Pmt) since this can cause severe adverse effects. The section on Moxitak(Pmt) contraindications lists all such conditions.
