Chupp D Information

Chupp D is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Capsule, Syrup. The alternative uses of Chupp D have also been explained below.

The optimal dosage of Chupp D is largely dependent on the individual's body weight, medical history, gender and age. The condition it has been prescribed for, and the route of administration also determine the right dosage. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.

This is the usual dosage recommended in most common treatment cases. Please remember that every patient and their case is different, so the dosage can be different based on the disease, route of administration, patient's age and medical history.

Chupp D is available in the form of tablet, syrup, and lozenge. The tablet should be swallowed with water, the syrup should be taken with a measuring spoon or a container and lozenge should be allowed to melt inside the mouth. Chupp D is taken every 4 to 12 hours as per the requirement. It is important to read the label carefully and follow the instructions completely. If you are giving Chupp D to a child then make sure it is not given to a child younger than 4 years old. Also, make sure that you are using a brand that is exclusively for children. Be very careful while administering more than one type of drug to the child because if there is a common ingredient in more than one drug then it could lead to overdose. It is suitable to take Chupp D under the guidance of a doctor or a pharmacist. It is also important to talk to your doctor if the symptoms do not improve in 7 days.
