According to Ayurveda, the vata dosha of mothers increases after the birth of the child. This means that the vata dosha becomes unbalanced after the birth of the child, due to which balancing the vata dosha after the birth of the child becomes a problem. In this case, the consumption of ghee is very important. To keep the Vata dosha balanced, one teaspoon of ghee mixed with herbs like ginger, black pepper, chitrak, chhaav should be given to the mother daily. It helps in digestion.
