Vogs M is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Tablet. Vogs M also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

Common side effects of Vogs M include Weakness, Headache, Nausea or vomiting. Besides the aforementioned side effects, there are other adverse effects of Vogs M as well, which are listed below. Normally, these side effects of Vogs M are not long lasting and go away when the treatment is finished. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

Interaction between Food and Vogs M
There isn't any research available on the side effects of taking Vogs M with food.
Interaction between Alcohol and Vogs M
No research has been done on this till date. Therefore, it is not known what the effect of taking Vogs M with alcohol will be.
Yes, Vogs M can cause low blood sugar (hypoglycemia). However, this can also occur if you delay or miss a meal, drink alcohol, exercise more than usual, can't eat due to stomach upset, and taking other antidiabetic medicine with voglibose. So, regular monitoring of blood glucose level is needed and be cautious of symptoms of hypoglycemia. It is best to consult your doctor if you feel any unwanted effects.
Vogs M contain voglibose. It works by inhibiting the enzyme (alpha-glucosidase) that reduces the rate of digestion of complex carbohydrates. Less glucose is absorbed because the carbohydrates are not broken down into glucose molecules. Hence in this way, Vogs M reduces blood sugar levels.
No, Vogs M does not cause weight loss. It has not been reported by a patient who is taking this medicine. However, if you experience weight loss after taking this drug then it might be due to some other reason.
Take Vogs M as advised by your doctor. It can be taken orally three times daily immediately before each meal. Precautions must be taken in patients with improper liver or kidney function.
Vogs M should be taken as long as needed or take it as directed by doctor. Do not discontinue the drug suddenly or take it longer than prescribed by your doctor.
