Uritin is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Tablet. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Enlarged Prostate.

Uritin is a brand name for tamsulosin. It belongs to a class of drugs known as alpha blockers. It is available in the form of a tablet and capsule. It is used in men for the treatment of enlarged prostate (benign prostate hyperplasia or BPH) which may comprise painful urination, difficulty in urinating (incomplete bladder emptying, hesitation, dribbling, weak stream), urgency and frequency. It is also used for the treatment of chronic prostatitis (off-label).
