The cell wall protects the bacteria from the environment, in the absence of this cell wall, the bacteria becomes vulnerable and dies. Unitax is effective against a wide range of both gram negative and gram positive bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Haemophilus influenza, Staphylococcus aureus, and Staphylococcus pneumonia.
