Tabi is a medication used primarily in the treatment of prostate cancer. It belongs to a class of drugs called non-steroidal anti-androgens, which work by blocking the action of androgens (male hormones) that stimulate the growth of cancer cells.  Tabi binds to androgen receptors in prostate cancer cells, inhibiting the effects of testosterone and other androgens. This leads to a reduction in tumor growth and alleviation of symptoms.

Uses:

1. Prostate Cancer: Used in combination with other treatments like luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone (LHRH) analogs or surgery.
2. Hormonal Therapy: To reduce androgen levels and slow the progression of cancer.

SIDE EFFECTS:-
