Yes, Swimox can treat the sinus infection. However, a combination of Swimox and clavulanic acid is given as the first-line drug for the treatment of sinus infection. Please consult your doctor for the right line of treatment for sinus infection.
Swimox should be ideally taken with food(a light meal). Take this medicine in the required quantity and duration as prescribed by your doctor. Discontinuing the medicine in between may promote resistant bacteria which result in a relapse of the infection.
