Yes, Storfib might cause hair loss but it occurs very rarely. This problem goes away after discontinuation of the drug. However, if you notice excessive hair loss then consult it with your doctor.
Storfib works by inhibiting an enzyme (HMG-CoA reductase) which is responsible for cholesterol synthesis in our body, its inhibition results in increased levels of HDL (good cholesterol) and decreased levels of LDL (bad cholesterol) which lowers the risk of developing heart disease and helps in preventing strokes
