Stavir is a prescription drug, available for use as Capsule. HIV/AIDS are some of its major therapeutic uses.
The right dosage of Stavir depends on the age, gender, and medical history of the patient. Dosage also depends on the route of administration and your chief complaint for which the drug is prescribed. This information has been provided in detail in the dosage section.
Stavir also has some side effects, the most common being Dizziness. Apart from the aforementioned side effects, Stavir can also lead to other problems, which have been listed below. Usually, these side effects of Stavir go away soon, and do not persist beyond the duration of the treatment. However, if these continue for a longer time, consult your doctor right away.
It is also important to note that Stavir has a Moderate effect for pregnant women and Mild effect on lactating mothers. In addition, Stavir's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Stavir related warnings section.
Stavir is not recommended if you suffer from certain medical conditions as it can have adverse effects. Liver Disease, Kidney Disease, Guillain-Barre Syndrome are examples of such conditions. Other conditions have been mentioned below in the Stavir contraindications section.
