Repan Z is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Tablet. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Acidity, GERD, Peptic Ulcer. Secondary and off-label uses of Repan Z have also been mentioned below.

Interaction between Alcohol and Repan Z
Consuming Repan Z with alcohol can have many serious effects on your body.
Repan Z works by blocking the action of the enzyme in the wall of a stomach which is responsible for acid production in the stomach. By blocking the enzyme, the production of acid is decreased, and this helps to relieve the stomach from acidity, heartburn, GERD, stomach ulcer and other acidity related stomach problem.
Yes, Repan Z can be taken with Zantac. Both medicines work by reducing the acid secretion in the stomach which helps in relieving acidity. No harmful drug interactions have been reported between them. However, please consult your doctor before taking the two medicines together.
Take Repan Z as long as your doctor has recommended you to take it. Do not exceed the prescribed dose. Consult your doctor if there is no symptomatic relief.
