Relubri is a brand name of glucosamine and it is available in the form of a tablet and capsule. It is a dietary supplement and a precursor of glycosaminoglycans which is used to provide relief from symptoms of mild to moderate osteoarthritis.
Relubri contains glucosamine which is presumed to work by stimulating the synthesis of naturally occurring glycosaminoglycans and proteoglycans in our body. Both of these are major components of joint cartilage as well as and synovial fluid and their synthesis may help in the rebuilding of cartilage which can provide relief to the patient from pain and inflammation.
