Interaction between Food and Queenolar

Interaction between Alcohol and Queenolar
Taking [medicine] and alcohol at the same time may lead to mild side effects. Contact your doctor right away if you observe any side effects.
Rarely, Queenolar causes a headache. It is a known side effect of this drug. If you experience a severe headache after taking this drug, take a mild painkiller, apply balms and complete rest. Even if the pain does not subside then discuss it with your doctor.
Rarely, Queenolar causes microangiopathic hemolytic anemia as well as thrombocytopenia (low platelet count). It is a known side effect of this drug. If you are experiencing tiredness or shortness of breath or bleeding then discuss it with your doctor without further delay.
Rarely, Queenolar causes nausea and vomiting. It is a known side effect of this drug. For relief from nausea and vomiting try to take lime water, avoid eating spicy food even if it persists or becomes severe then discuss with your doctor.
Yes, Queenolar causes low blood pressure (hypotension). It is a known side effect of this drug. If you are experiencing lightheadedness or blurry vision which are symptoms of low blood pressure after taking this drug then try to sit down and rest for a while till it subsides.
Yes, Queenolar is used to prevent and treat malaria caused by parasites Plasmodium species which are Plasmodium falciparum, Plasmodium malariae, Plasmodium ovale, and Plasmodium vivax. It works by interfering in the parasite's ability to break down and digest hemoglobin. Malarial parasites need hemoglobin for growth and survival. Queenolar binds with the hemoglobin and forms a complex with it which is toxic for the parasite only. This results in starvation and death of parasites due to building up of the toxic levels.
