Piratone is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Tablet, Syrup. It is typically used for the treatment of Myoclonus. Other than this, Piratone has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.

The right dosage of Piratone depends on the age, gender, and medical history of the patient. Individual symptoms and route of administration also determines the right dosage. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.

The most common side effects of Piratone are Nausea or vomiting, Rash, Confusion. Besides the aforementioned side effects, there are other adverse effects of Piratone as well, which are listed below. Usually, these side effects of Piratone go away soon, and do not persist beyond the duration of the treatment. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

Furthermore, you should know that effect of Piratone is Moderate for pregnant women and Severe for women who are breastfeeding. In addition, Piratone's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Piratone related warnings section.
