Is the use of Paragis D safe for pregnant women?
Pregnant women may experience moderate side effects from Paragis D. It is best to stop taking Paragis D immediately and inform your doctor if you notice any discomfort.
Is the use of Paragis D safe during breastfeeding?
Breastfeeding women may feel side effects of Paragis D. If you see any side effects, stop taking Paragis D immediately and talk to your doctor. Take Paragis D again, only after your doctor's advice.

Interaction between Food and Paragis D
Taking Paragis D with food does not harm your health.
Interaction between Alcohol and Paragis D
No research has been done on this till date. Therefore, it is not known what the effect of taking Paragis D with alcohol will be.
As we know Paragis D is most widely used 'over-the-counter' analgesic/antipyretic medicine. However, paracetamol overdose can cause serious adverse effects on the liver, it may be fatal. But fortunately, there is an antidote, N-acetylcysteine (NAC) given within 8 hours of Paragis D ingestion which usually can prevent all serious side effects of Paragis D poisoning. However, do not take NAC without consulting a doctor as your doctor will tell you the right way and methods to help you relieve from this drug poisoning.
An overdose occurs when more than the required amount (toxic levels) of [medicine] is taken. Initial symptoms of Paragis D overdose includes loss of appetite, drowsiness, seizures, abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting. Later progressive symptoms may include pain in your upper stomach, dark colored urine, yellowing of your skin or the white patches in your eyes, liver damage and in rare cases, it can also lead to coma. So, by any chance, if you have accidentally taken more than the required dose of Paragis D inform your doctor immediately.
Paragis D is a safe drug no much precautions are to be taken. However, alcohol should be completely avoided. If you have any previous history of kidney and liver diseases keep your doctor informed before taking this drug.
You should take the minimum effective dose of Paragis D that reduces body pain and fever. It should be used for the shortest time period till you get relief. Take it as per doctor's advice do not exceed dosage. Ideally, 1 or 2 tablets (500 mg) every four to six hours can be safely taken, do not take more than four doses in 24 hours. Please note paracetamol 500 mg tablet should not be given to children below 10 years until and unless prescribed by a child specialist.
Paragis D is primarily not used to treat a common cold and sore throat. It can only relieve cold-related symptoms such as a fever, headache, earache, and aching joints. It doesn't help in relieving cough or stuffy nose.
