Interaction between Food and Pancef

Interaction between Alcohol and Pancef
It is difficult to say anything about the effect of Pancef and alcohol. No research has been done on this yet.
Avoid taking Pancef with azithromycin, because it can cause heart-related problems. However, if you are experiencing any discomfort after consuming these two medicines at the same time then do not hesitate to inform your doctor.
Occasionally Pancef can cause drug-induced thrombocytopenia (blood clot formation in a vessel). However, if you experience severe thrombocytopenia after taking this medicine, please immediately seek medical help.
Pancef is a prescription drug so do not take it without consulting doctor. It can be harmful for people to take this medicine without a doctor's advice.
Occasionally Pancef can cause a drug to induce hemolytic anemia (abnormal Red blood cell breakdown). However, if your blood reports are showing abnormal hemolytic anemia after taking this drug please discuss with your doctor.
Discontinuing Pancef in between may promote resistance to bacteria which may result in a relapse of the infection. You are recommended to complete the 7 - 14 days course even after getting symptomatic relief. you feel any discomfort such as breathing difficulties and skin reactions while taking this medicine please inform your doctor immediately.
