Ovaa Shield is a brand name of acetylcysteine and it comes in the form of tablet and injection. It is a prescription drug which is used as an antidote for the treatment of paracetamol poisoning to prevent liver toxicity. It is also used as a mucolytic agent to provide relief from excessive mucus (phlegm) in respiratory diseases.
