No, Otras is not a painkiller. It is an antibiotic that belongs to the class of medications called fluoroquinolone.
Take Otras if your doctor has prescribed it to you. However, keep a close check on blood sugar levels as metformin is known to cause hypoglycemia( sudden dip in blood sugar levels). In case you are experiencing severe hypoglycemia, please inform your doctor immediately.
