The accumulation of the chloramphenicol in the body leads to toxicity which causes development of symptoms such as vomiting, gray color of the skin, blue discoloration of lips and skin. To avoid gray baby syndrome the doses of Opthomycetin Plus must be lowered and adjusted as per the need.
