Ofuxin is a prescription medicine that is available as a Infusion. It is primarily used for the treatment of Urinary Tract Infection, Ear Infection, Bacterial Infections. Ofuxin also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

The optimal dosage of Ofuxin is largely dependent on the individual's body weight, medical history, gender and age. Besides the medical condition it is advised for, the route of administration also plays an important role in determining the correct drug dosage. Apart from the aforementioned side effects, Ofuxin can also lead to other problems, which have been listed below. Usually, these side effects of Ofuxin go away soon, and do not persist beyond the duration of the treatment. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

It is also important to note that Ofuxin has a Moderate effect for pregnant women and Moderate effect on lactating mothers. It is important to know if Ofuxin has any effect on the kidney, liver and heart. Information on such adverse effects, if any, has been given in the Ofuxin related warnings section.

Ofuxin is not recommended if you suffer from certain medical conditions as it can have adverse effects. Atrial Fibrillation, Heart Failure, Myasthenia Gravis (MG) are examples of such conditions.
