Oflobact is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Tablet, Suspension. It is primarily used for the treatment of Urinary Tract Infection, Ear Infection, Bacterial Infections. Oflobact also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

Oflobact is a broad-spectrum antibiotic, active against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It works by inhibiting the bacterial cell division and stops the working of enzyme which is responsible for cell division. It is effective against a large number of bacteria, even those bacteria which are resistant to other drugs.
Oflobact can be taken with doxycycline. No drug-drug interactions are reported between them. Doxycyclin also does not affect the absorption of this drug. However, it doesn't mean that no interaction could exist. Please consult your doctor, if you feel any complication after consuming these two medicines at the same time.
