Yes, Novacor Plus is a steroid. It contains clobetasol which is a potent corticosteroid. It should not be confused with anabolic-androgenic steroids which are used by some bodybuilders without prescription to build muscle mass.
Yes, Novacor Plus might cause dry skin in few cases only. However, the exact cause behind dry skin is unknown. If you are experiencing excessive dryness of skin after applying this drug then you are advised to use a skin moisturizer. Skin moisturizer should be applied only after 30 minutes of applying this drug so that the Novacor Plus can be absorbed by the skin.
