Precautions must be taken in patients with hypothyroidism, cirrhosis, hypertension, congestive heart failure, ulcerative colitis, thromboembolic disorders, osteoporosis, glaucoma, diabetes, peptic ulcer. Your doctor may tell you to follow low-sodium, low-salt, potassium-rich, or high-protein diet if you are taking Mosi D.
Yes, long-term use of Mosi D can cause high blood pressure because Mosi D can increase sodium levels in your body as well as fluid retention can cause an increase in blood pressure.
Yes, use of Mosi D for long-term can result in weight gain due to increased appetite and fluid retention which causes weight gain in the patient, if the drug is taken in form of a tablet.
Mosi D should be ideally taken with food after evening. It has been observed that food has minimal significance in the drug absorption. However, you are recommended to take it as per the doctor's instructions.
