The optimal dosage of Monit is largely dependent on the individual's body weight, medical history, gender and age. Dosage also depends on the route of administration and your chief complaint for which the drug is prescribed. This information has been provided in detail in the dosage section.

Monit also has some side effects, the most common being Headache, Dizziness, Flushing. Apart from the aforementioned side effects, Monit can also lead to other problems, which have been listed below. Such side effects of Monit normally do not last long and go away once the treatment is completed. Please speak with your doctor if these side effects worsen or persist for a longer duration.

Furthermore, you should know that effect of Monit is Mild for pregnant women and Mild for women who are breastfeeding. Warnings related to Monit's effects on the liver, heart and kidney, if any, have been listed below.

Monit is not recommended if you suffer from certain medical conditions as it can have adverse effects. Low Blood Pressure (Hypotension), Anemia are examples of such conditions. Other contraindications of Monit have been discussed in the sections ahead.
