However, certain side effects have been associated with this drug such as skin atrophy (skin thinning), burning or stinging sensation of the skin. If you experience above-mentioned side after using this drug then inform your doctor and follow his/her instructions.
Yes, Mixderm G M might be used for the treatment of lichen sclerosus (LS) which is a skin condition that causes thinning of the skin and white patches, generally in the genital area. Clinical studies have found Mixderm G M to be effective in the treatment of lichen sclerosus (LS).
Application of Mixderm G M on the face must be avoided but if it has been advised by your doctor then you can use it only for a short-term period not more than 5 days because the skin on your face thins easily.
No, Mixderm G M alone should not be used for jock itch also known as tinea cruris because it is a fungal infection and Mixderm G M is not an antifungal agent and it is not effective against fungi. Hence Mixderm G M should not be used for the treatment of jock itch. For the treatment of jock itch, you can use a combination of Mixderm G M and antifungal drugs such as miconazole and fluconazole.
