Interaction between Food and Minifibro

Interaction between Alcohol and Minifibro

Minifibro alone does not cause bleeding, although some women may experience light bleeding after taking misoprostol.
Discontinuation of Minifibro on your own can cause unwanted side effects and withdrawal symptoms. You are recommended to once check with your doctor before discontinuing this medicine.
Minifibro blocks the action of progesterone hormone which is responsible for maintaining the pregnancy. Progesterone prepares the uterus to receive and sustain the fertilized egg and is an important hormone for sustaining a pregnancy. It also terminates early pregnancy by blocking the activity of progesterone and progesterone receptors. Additionally, it also stimulates the contraction of the uterus.
Minifibro is used in combination with misoprostol to terminate early pregnancy. Early pregnancy means it has been 10 weeks or less since your last menstrual cycle began. It is also used to control hyperglycemia in people with Cushing syndrome.
No, harmful interaction found between Minifibro and alcohol, it does not reduce the effectiveness of Minifibro. However, alcohol can cause liver damage and dehydration in some people which may increase the severity of side effects, if taken together.
