Gyrofix is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Tablet. It is primarily used for the treatment of Urinary Tract Infection, Ear Infection, Bacterial Infections. Other than this, Gyrofix has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.

Yes, long-term use of Gyrofix can increase the risk of tendonitis and tendon rupture in some people. However, the exact mechanism of tendon rupture is not known. If you suffer from tendon rupture or any kind of muscular pain after consuming this drug, please consult your doctor immediately.
Yes Gyrofix is used to treat typhoid fever. If other antibiotics are resistance to salmonella typhi then it is very effective to treat typhoid fever. however, it is best to consult your doctor about the right treatment for typhoid fever.
Gyrofix can be taken with doxycycline. No drug-drug interactions are reported between them. Doxycyclin also does not affect the absorption of this drug. However, it doesn't mean that no interaction could exist. Please consult your doctor, if you feel any complication after consuming these two medicines at the same time.
