Germox Capsule is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Capsule. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Bacterial Infections, Throat Infection, Upper Respiratory Tract Infection. Germox Capsule also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

Interaction between Food and Germox Capsule

Interaction between Alcohol and Germox Capsule
Side effects of drinking alcohol and taking Germox Capsule at the same time are rare and minor. However, if you face any side effects, talk to your doctor immediately.
Germox should be ideally taken with food(a light meal). Take this medicine in the required quantity and duration as prescribed by your doctor. Discontinuing the medicine in between may promote resistant bacteria which result in a relapse of the infection. You are recommended to complete the 3 - 7-day course even after getting symptomatic relief. In case you feel any discomfort such as breathing difficulties and skin reactions while taking this medicine please inform your doctor immediately.
Yes, Germox can cause diarrhea by disturbing bacterial flora of the gut. It is a common side effect of this drug. However, if you are experiencing severe diarrhea after consuming this medicine inform the doctor immediately and check if you can discontinue the medicine.
