Yes, Elrab use is associated with the development of diarrhea. This might be related to an infection caused by Clostridium difficile. In addition, one must take a lot of electrolytes and fluids for preventing dehydration. Taking an anti-diarrheal medication may also help.
No, Elrab does not cause kidney damage at recommended doses. However, in case of long-term use of Elrab along with improper kidney function, might cause kidney damage. Rarely Elrab causes stomach cancer. There has been no direct relationship to establish the fact.
