Interaction between Alcohol and Clogel
No research has been done on this till date. Therefore, it is not known what the effect of taking Clogel with alcohol will be.
No, Clogel alone should not be used for ringworm because it is a fungal infection of the skin caused by fungi such as Trichophyton rubrum and Epidermophyton floccosum and Clogel is not an antifungal agent and it is not effective against fungi. Hence Clogel should not be used for the treatment of ringworm. For the treatment of ringworm, you can use a combination of Clogel and antifungal drugs such as miconazole and fluconazole.
Clogel should be applied 1 - 2 times a day or as advised by your doctor. Clogel should be applied after cleaning the infected area, allow it to dry, and then gently rub the medication till it disappears. Do not forget to wash your hands after applying this drug.
Clogel is used for the short-term treatment up to 2 weeks and if required then maximum up to 4 weeks. You are advised to use it as directed by your doctor. Do not use this medicine longer than prescribed by your doctor to avoid the unpleasant side effect.
Application of Clogel on the face must be avoided but if it has been advised by your doctor then you can use it only for a short-term period not more than 5 days because the skin on your face thins easily.
Yes, Clogel might lighten skin because it causes skin atrophy (skin thinning) which reduces the darkness of the skin. However, Clogel is not approved for skin lightening and should not be used for this purpose because it can cause unpleasant side effects.
