Ciplek is a prescription drug, available for use as Tablet. It is primarily used for the treatment of Urinary Tract Infection, Bacterial Infections. Other than this, Ciplek has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.

Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Ciplek. Dosage also depends on the route of administration and your chief complaint for which the drug is prescribed. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.

Apart from the aforementioned side effects, Ciplek can also lead to other problems, which have been listed below. Usually, these side effects of Ciplek go away soon, and do not persist beyond the duration of the treatment. Please speak with your doctor if these side effects worsen or persist for a longer duration.

It is also important to note that Ciplek has a Moderate effect for pregnant women and Moderate effect on lactating mothers. It is important to know if Ciplek has any effect on the kidney, liver and heart. Information on such adverse effects, if any, has been given in the Ciplek related warnings section.

Ciplek is not recommended if you suffer from certain medical conditions as it can have adverse effects. Arrhythmia, Heart Disease, Myasthenia Gravis (MG) are examples of such conditions. Some other conditions that can be affected by Ciplek are listed in the contraindications section below.
