Interaction between Food and Cefde O

Interaction between Alcohol and Cefde O

Cefde O and doxycycline can be taken together, as there are no reported harmful interactions between them. However, it doesn't mean that no interactions exist between them. Please take if prescribed by a doctor.
Cefde O can be safely taken as prescribed by your doctor. Do not discontinue the medicine suddenly or take it longer than prescribed duration.
Do not self-administer Cefde O. It comes in the form of injection and preferably taken 1 - 2 times in a day (Intravenously or Intramuscularly). Take this medicine in the required quantity and duration as prescribed by your doctor. Discontinuing the a in between may promote resistant bacteria which result in a relapse of the infection. You are recommended to complete the 7 - 14 days course even after getting symptomatic relief. In case you feel any discomfort such as breathing difficulties and skin reactions while taking this medicine please inform your doctor immediately.
Yes, Cefde O can cause liver toxicity if taken in higher doses for a long time. You are advised to get regular liver function tests done to keep a check on proper liver functioning while taking this drug.
Rarely Cefde O can cause neurotoxicity. It is a reversible side effect of this drug, the symptoms caused due to drug-induced neurotoxicity often disappear after this drug is stopped. However, if you experience convulsions, agitation, weakness and severe nausea do not hesitate to inform your doctor without any further delay.
