Stopping or discontinuing Balmusa D on your own can cause withdrawal symptoms (seizures, difficulty in sleep, headache, nervousness, and depression). Balmusa D works by relaxing the muscles of the body and suppressing abnormal activity of nerve cells in the brain through increase in activity of a chemical messenger known as GABA. Thus, providing relief from sleeplessness and anxiety to the patient.
Balmusa D can be taken with or without food. Preferably taken 2 - 4 times in a day. Extended-release tablet should be taken once daily. The dose should be gradually increased from low to high.
