Amdepin Information

Yes, you can take it with seafood safely if you are not allergic to seafood. However, there is a lot of scientific evidence that Amdepin has shown very strong interaction with grapefruit juice hence you are highly recommended to avoid grapefruit juice with this drug.

No, Amdepin should not be discontinued on your own. Discontinuation of a drug on your own can cause some serious problem such as blood pressure or chest pain which lead to heart attack and stroke. Does Amdepin cause edema?

Yes, Amdepin can cause edema. It is the most common side effects of this drug. Usually swelling occurs in feet and ankle. If these effects cause troublesome, then consult your doctor regarding whether this effect arises due to amlodipine consumption or not. If yes, then you can stop taking this medicine with the help of doctor because of alternate treatment are also available. However, it is dose-related effects if taken a low dose, chances of edema are very less if consuming high dose the chances of edema are high.
