Alcetam, a prescription drug, is manufactured in various forms such as Tablet. It is typically used for the treatment of Myoclonus. Other than this, Alcetam has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.

Common side effects of Alcetam include Nausea or vomiting, Rash, Confusion. While these are the most often observed Alcetam side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. Normally, these side effects of Alcetam are not long lasting and go away when the treatment is finished. However, if these continue for a longer time, consult your doctor right away.

Alcetam's effect during pregnancy is Moderate and Severe while nursing. In addition, Alcetam's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Alcetam related warnings section.
