Agroflox M is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Syrup. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Urinary Tract Infection, Ear Infection, Bacterial Infections. Other than this, Agroflox M has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.

No, Agroflox M is not a painkiller. It is an antibiotic that belongs to the class of medications called fluoroquinolone.
Agroflox M is a broad-spectrum antibiotic, active against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It works by inhibiting the bacterial cell division and stops the working of enzyme which is responsible for cell division. It is effective against a large number of bacteria, even those bacteria which are resistant to other drugs.
Discontinuing Agroflox M on your own can increase the chances of bacterial resistance and infection relapse. It is recommended that you always consult your doctor if you have decided to discontinue this medicine.
Agroflox M is not recommended as the first-line of drug for treating sinus infection. However, if there are no other alternatives available then you can take it, after doctor's advice.
