Yes, Sonirab use is associated with the development of diarrhea. This might be related to an infection caused by Clostridium difficile. If you experience severe diarrhea after consuming this medicine, inform the doctor right away without further delay. In addition, one must take a lot of electrolytes and fluids for preventing dehydration. Taking an anti-diarrheal medication may also help.
This is because a long-term use of Sonirab can cause Vitamin B12 deficiency. Stomach acids help in the absorption of Vitamin B 12, and this drug suppresses stomach acid which is required for the absorption of vitamin B12.
