Pentalink Information

Pentalink is a prescription drug, available for use as Infusion, Tablet. It is primarily used for the treatment of Acidity, GERD, Peptic Ulcer. Secondary and off-label uses of Pentalink have also been mentioned below.

The right dosage of Pentalink depends on the age, gender, and medical history of the patient. Dosage also depends on the route of administration and your chief complaint for which the drug is prescribed. Detailed information has been provided in the dosage section.

Why Pentalink is given along with vitamine B 12?

This is because long-term use of Pentalink can cause Vitamin B12 deficiency. Stomach acids help in the absorption of Vitamin B 12, and this drug suppresses stomach acids which are required for the absorption of vitamin B12. Hence patients taking [medicine] for a long time have Vitamin B12 deficiency. To replenish Vitamin B12 in your body your doctor prescribes this vitamin along with this medicine.
