Grafmet

Grafmet is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Injection. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Ulcerative Colitis, Rheumatoid Arthritis. Secondary and off-label uses of Grafmet have also been mentioned below.

Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Grafmet. Dosage also depends on the route of administration and your chief complaint for which the drug is prescribed. For detailed information on this, read through the dosage section.

The most common side effects of Grafmet are Agitation, Anxiety, Blurred vision. Besides the aforementioned side effects, there are other adverse effects of Grafmet as well, which are listed below. Usually, these side effects of Grafmet go away soon, and do not persist beyond the duration of the treatment. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

Furthermore, you should know that effect of Grafmet is Moderate for pregnant women and Moderate for women who are breastfeeding. In addition, Grafmet's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Grafmet related warnings section.

Grafmet is not recommended if you suffer from certain medical conditions as it can have adverse effects. Tuberculosis (TB), Infections, Peptic Ulcer are examples of such conditions. The section on Grafmet contraindications lists all such conditions.
