Caditrex contains methotrexate which is a chemotherapy drug that works in cancer by preventing the DNA synthesis of cancerous cells. It inhibits dihydrofolic acid reductase enzyme which is important for the formation of tetrahydrofolate. Tetrahydrofolate is essential for the synthesis of some DNA components of the cancerous cells. Incase of autoimmune and inflammatory diseases such as psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis, and Crohn's disease Caditrex works by suppressing the body's normal immune response to inflammation. This results in reduced inflammation and provides relief from the symptoms associated with these diseases.

Yes, Caditrex can be taken with clindamycin. No harmful drug interaction has been reported between them. It is safe to take Caditrex along with clindamycin.
