Interaction between Food and Ofix

Ofix is not recommended as the first-line of drug for treating sinus infection. However, if there are no other alternatives available then you can take it, after doctor's advice.
Ofix is a prescription drug, hence do not take Ofix without consulting doctor. It can be harmful to patients to take this medicine without a doctor's advice.
Take Ofix if your doctor has prescribed it to you. However, keep a close check on blood sugar levels as metformin is known to cause hypoglycemia( sudden dip in blood sugar levels). In case you are experiencing severe hypoglycemia, please inform your doctor immediately.
Discontinuing Ofix on your own can increase the chances of bacterial resistance and infection relapse. It is recommended that you always consult your doctor if you have decided to discontinue this medicine.
Ofix can be taken with doxycycline. No drug-drug interactions are reported between them. Doxycyclin also does not affect the absorption of this drug.
