Filda is a prescription medicine that is available as a Tablet. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Erectile Dysfunction, Pulmonary Hypertension. Filda also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

Yes Filda is safe to use, if taken in a prescribed amount for a specified time as advised by the doctor. However, few side effects have been observed at a therapeutic dose level such as a headache, dyspepsia, bone pain, and urinary retention. You are recommended to inform your doctor immediately if you are experiencing any of the above.
Filda works by inhibiting the phosphodiesterase-5 enzyme in the corpus cavernosum, leading to smooth muscle relaxation (vasodilation). This smooth muscle relaxation leads to vasodilation and increases the flow of blood in the penis causing an erection.
Clinical trials have not been performed on adolescents. Hence it is not recommended for adolescents.
Filda is a brand name for tadalafil. It is a prescription drug that belongs to the class of medications called phosphodiesterase-5 enzyme Inhibitor. It is used to treat erectile dysfunction. Its effectiveness for treating sexual dysfunction in women has yet not been established. It works only by increasing sexual stimulation but does not increase sexual desire. It is also used to treat enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia-BPH) and pulmonary hypertension.
Do not take Filda with nitrate, because taking it with nitrates can cause life-threatening conditions. Also, this combination is contraindicated, it must be avoided as it can produce significant hypotension (low blood pressure) and is potentially fatal.
