Yes, Acfex might be used to treat sinusitis (Inflammation of cavities situated around the nasal passages) caused by bacteria (Streptococcus pneumoniae or Haemophilus influenzae). However, because of its poor activity against these bacteria Acfex is not recommended usually for the treatment of sinus infection (sinusitis).
