Yes, you can take Epilive and topamax (topiramate) together. No clinically significant drug interaction has been reported between them. However, if you feel any discomfort after taking this drug along with topamax then do not hesitate to inform your doctor.
Initially Epilive is given for short-term treatment up to 2-4 weeks later the patient is called for follow up visit and depending on his medical condition doctor might prescribe it for a longer period. You are advised to take Epilive as directed by your doctor. Do not take this medicine longer than prescribed by your doctor to avoid unpleasant side effects.
Epilive may be used to treat absence seizures. Scientific studies have found that medicine is effective in decreasing the frequency of absence seizures. However, more studies are needed to confirm its efficacy in the treatment of absence seizures.
