Avas Information
Avas is a prescription drug, available for use as Tablet. It is primarily used for the treatment of High Cholesterol. Secondary and off-label uses of Avas have also been mentioned below.
The right dosage of Avas depends on the age, gender, and medical history of the patient. The condition it has been prescribed for, and the route of administration also determine the right dosage. Detailed information has been provided in the dosage section.
The most common side effects of Avas are Headache, Nasopharyngitis, Diarrhoea. Apart from the aforementioned side effects, Avas can also lead to other problems, which have been listed below. No, Avas does not cause diabetes. It has not been reported to cause diabetes. However, Avas might increase your blood sugar levels slightly. So, if you have diabetes keep a check on your blood sugar levels and in case of a sudden spike inform your doctor and take medicines accordingly.
