Safoban is a prescription drug, available for use as Ointment. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Bacterial Infections, Impetigo. Secondary and off-label uses of Safoban have also been mentioned below.

Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Safoban. Dosage also depends on the route of administration and your chief complaint for which the drug is prescribed. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.

The most common side effects of Safoban are Itching or burning, Rash. Besides the aforementioned side effects, there are other adverse effects of Safoban as well, which are listed below. Normally, these side effects of Safoban are not long lasting and go away when the treatment is finished. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

Furthermore, you should know that effect of Safoban is Safe for pregnant women and Safe for women who are breastfeeding.
