Levecad is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Tablet, Injection. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Epilepsy. Other than this, Levecad has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.

Yes, Levecad causes sedation, drowsiness or sleepiness. It is a common side effect of this drug. Sedation occurs due to inhibition of excess activity of brain. If you are experiencing sedation after taking this drug then you are advised to not drive any vehicle or operate heavy machinery to avoid an accidental injury.
No, Levecad should not be discontinued without doctors advice because sudden discontinuation of this drug might result in withdrawal seizures. You should decrease the dose of medicine gradually as per your doctor's instruction to avoid withdrawal seizure. Yes, Levecad and gabapentin can be taken together because no harmful drug interaction has been reported between them. Hence, it is safe to take Levecad along with gabapentin.
